EXAMINATION OF MARRIED AND WORKING INDIVIDUALS’ MARITAL ADJUSTMENT

In this research, working individuals’ marital adjustment were investigated. The form that determine the sociodemographic characteristics and the Marital Adjustment Scale were used for collecting data. The sample of the study was consisted of 400 married and working individuals, 194 of them were female and 206 of them were male Datas were analyzed using SPSS software. According to results of the research, %20,3 participants have well adjusted marriages, on the other hand %79,7 participants have poorly adjusted marriages. Moreover, while significant differences have been determined between marital adjustment and age, educational level, working time span, revenue, marriage age, format of marriage, marriage time span and number of children (p<0,05), there have been determined no correlation between marital adjustment and gender and business position. (p>0,05)
