TÜRKİYE SPORTS CLUBS AND THE NEW LAW

Today, voluntarily established sports clubs are important organizations in the development of sports in order to determine the needs of people regarding sports, to contribute to sports, to manage sports and to meet the needs of doing sports. The aim of this study is to examine the structure and legal basis of sports clubs, one of the most important elements of sports, in Turkey. This research was carried out by literature review method. Data on the management of sports clubs, one of the most important institutions of Turkish sports management; The relevant laws, regulations, instructions, development plans and sports councils were collected and examined. Sports clubs in Turkey and their historical development, features, duties, legal bases and incentives are discussed. The newly revealed law of sports clubs is included in the research. When the data obtained as a result of the study are evaluated as a whole, Sports Clubs in Turkey are non-governmental organizations that train athletes, carry out social responsibility projects and provide the opportunity to do sports in our country. From the past, it has been stated that there is a need for a law for sports clubs and regulations regarding sports clubs should be made. Until the new law came into effect, Sports clubs were governed by the law of associations. With the rapid changes in the world, the developments in science and technology, the needs and expectations have changed and club management has also been affected. In recent years, the continuous change in the sports management structure of Turkey has caused the development of sports clubs to be disrupted. It can be said that with the emergence of this law on sports clubs in Turkey, it will be beneficial for the development and management of sports clubs.
