THE ACTIVITIES THAT CAN BE CONDUCTED WITH STUDENT FOR THE RESPECT TO DIFFERENCES EDUCATION IN ORDER TO ORGANIZE THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

In the respect to differences education program, the arrangement of the place in the teaching environment, the selection and use of the education materials is very important. The learning environment should enable children to reveal their positive identities and develop empathy for differences. For this, it is required to establish environment that children will give positive compromises with their personalities. Well-planned teaching and learning environment for respect for differences and diversities education should have features that would promote and support children's developmental characteristics, creativity and problem-solving skills and should be safe, multi-purpose. In the context of respect to differences educational practices, it is necessary to create an educational environment that reflects the cultural diversity and differences to the children. In this study; how the learning environment should be for this respect to differences education program, what needs to be considered as content, and examples of activities that can be done for students for this education program have been described. A compilation study was conducted based on Turkish and foreign theses, articles and books related to the subject that are examined.
