In Turkey, from the time of the declaration of the Republic until the 1960s, university student organizations are generally ineffective, guided and have no impulsive power. Until this turning point, the university student organizations have not been in any opposition movements outside the politics of the single party administration. This situation; Since the day the Democratic Party took over the country, it does not usually show any change in much of its power. This situation will not change since 1959. The upsurge of the Democratic Party towards recent times, particularly in the economic and political arena, leads to dissatisfaction between the civil-military bureaucracy and the student circles. Democratic Party government; the establishment of the Investigation Commission to break up the growing opposition rather than establishing a dialogue and dialogue with increasingly effective opposition in the country towards itself further increases political dissatisfaction. In this environment, some students, supported by dissident political parties, are in a major struggle against Starting on 27 April 1960 at Istanbul University, the military coup of May 27, 1960 took place on the pretext of artificial political instability in a short period of time, especially as a result of student demonstrations reflected in Ankara and other objects.
