EXAMINATION OF COMMUNICATION SKILLS OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN TERMS OF DIFFERENT VARIENCES

In this research it is aimed to examine the communication skills of university students in terms of variences such as sex, class level, study department, general academic success, strategies of problem solving, percieved attitude of parents, frequency of using technological devices, socio-economical level, training regularity and artiness. This research is in the type of depiction and relational model is used in research. The universe of the research is created by students who studying faculty of education and faculty of economics & administrative sciences in 2012-2013 academic year.And the sample of the research created by 720 students in Bayburt University who studying department of economics faculty of business administration ,classroom teaching and the department of science of education in 2012-2013 academic year. In research, scale of evaluating communication skills which was created by Korkut 1996 is implemented as data collection tool. Analysis of frequency distribution, t test for independents, one-way analysis of variance (One Way Anova) and Kruskal Wallis analysises have been carried out on the data collected in research. In brief these findings have been gained in research. A meaningful relation has been found between communication skills and study departments, general academic successes and training regularities of students. On the contrary no meaningful differentiation has been found between communication skills, percieved attitude of parents and sex class level strategies of problem solving frequency of using technological devices socio-economical level and artiness of the students.
