The principal purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between the perception of organizational support and the level of social capital of the employees of the sports service business. Another aim is to examine the differences between the perception of organizational support and the level of social capital regarding the gender, education level, and duties of the employees. In line with the research purpose, the study model was planned by designing quantitative research, relational screening and causal comparison model. The universe of the research consists of employees of businesses that prepare and offer sports services and programs for profit or benefit in different provinces of 7 geographical regions of Turkey, and the sample consists of voluntary participants (n=1371) determined by convenience sampling method. A Personal information form, a perceived organizational support scale consisting of eight questions, and a social capital scale consisting of thirty-four questions were applied to the participants. High scores to be obtained from both scales indicate the high level of attitude and behavior towards the related scales. The data were collected online from the employees on a voluntary basis with the survey technique. The data obtained were transferred to the SPSS 25 package program and it was determined that the study data did not show normal distribution. As for statistical analysis, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis H, Spearman Correlation, and Regression analyzes were applied. As a result, it has been determined that the perceptions of individuals working in sports service businesses towards the level of organizational support and social capital are above average. It has been specified that there is a difference in the perceptions of the employees towards organizational support and the gender, education level, and duty variable, also there is a difference in the social capital level by the education level and the duty variable, and no difference according to the gender variable. It has also been determined that there is a weak positive relationship between perceived organizational support and social capital. In other words, as the perception of organizational support increases, the level of social capital also increases. It has been identified that perceived organizational support has a positive effect on the level of social capital and explains approximately 14% of the total variance.
