This study seeks to adapt to the spectator-based sports team reputation scale (SSTR), developed by Wonseok et al. (2015), into Turkish. This study was conducted on a total of 840 spectators, 271 (32.3%) of whom were female and 569 (67.7%) were male from different provinces. The construct validity of the scale was tested by Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and criterion validity was examined. The model was found to be significant for the study group and produced goodness of fit. The overall reliability coefficient of the scale was found as Cronbach Alpha = 0.910. The reliability coefficients of the sub-dimensions were found to be high. The spectators were divided into lower 27% and upper 27% groups according to the spectator-based sports team reputation scores and a significant difference was tested. As a result of the analysis, the SSTR scores of the upper 27% group were higher than the SSTR scores of the lower 27% group (p <0.05). Following an interpretation and discussion of the findings, it was determined that the scale is distinctive on the new sample. As a result, it can be said that the structure of the SSTR scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool suitable for Turkish culture.
