ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to reveal the relationship between the perception level of university students receiving ski education and the learning time of the snowplough technique. The sample population of our study consists of 49 university students between the ages of 19-21 who took ski lessons at the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Hitit University. A total of 49 (16 female and 33 male) university students, who did not have any health problems and who did not have any health problems, participated in our research, which was carried out with the relational screening model, which is one of the quantitative research methods. In the research, the d2 perception test, which is a test used to measure students' psychomotor speed, attention span, learning disability problem and concentration, and which is included in the study of "reliability and validity" by Çağlar and Koruç (2006), was used as a data collection tool, while determining the learning time of the snow slingshot technique. For the course, the time spent by the students in applying the technique completely and completely was determined with a chronometer. Pearson correlation test, which is a statistical method that provides information about the relationship between variables, the direction and severity of this relationship, was used in the analysis of the data. In the light of the data obtained from the study, it was found that there was a significant relationship between the learning time of the participants in the snow slingshot technique, which is the basic technique of alpine skiing, since the attention components E1, E2, E, TNE, TNE%, CP, FR, FR% scores were p<0.05. seen. With this study we have done, it has been tried to reveal that the effect of perception level is of great importance in the selection of athletes for alpine skiing, performance athlete talent selection screening and in terms of learning the technical trainings related to skiing in the most accurate and shortest time. It is thought that this study will contribute to many federations, clubs, provincial representatives and coaches, especially sports stakeholders in the skiing community. Conducting this study in different sports branches with different age groups and more participants is important in terms of contribution to the literature and the field.

ÖZ Bu araştırmanın amacı kayak eğitimi alan üniversite öğrencilerinin algı düzeyi ve kar sapanı tekniğini öğrenme süreleri arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmamızın örnek evrenini Hitit üniversitesi spor bilimleri fakültesinde kayak dersi alan 18-21 yaş aralığındaki 49 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli ile gerçekleştirilen araştırmamıza daha önce kayak ve kayakla benzer teknikleri barındıran spor branşlarında eğitimi almamış, herhangi bir sağlık problemi bulunmayan ve gönüllü olur formu dolduran toplam 49 (16 kadın ve 33 erkek) üniversite öğrencisi katılmıştır Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak öğrencilerin psikomotor hızı, dikkat süresini, öğrenme güçlüğü problemini ve konsantrasyonu ölçmek için kullanılan bir test olan olan ve Çağlar ve Koruç (2006) tarafından güvenirliği ve geçerliği” çalışmasında yer alan d2 algı testi kullanılırken, kar sapanı tekniği öğrenme sürelerinin tespiti içinse belirlenen parkurda öğrencilerin tekniği tam ve eksiksiz bir şekilde uygulamada geçen süreleri kronometre ile tespit edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde değişkenler arasındaki ilişki, bu ilişkinin yönü ve şiddeti ile ilgili bilgiler sağlayan istatiksel bir yöntem olan pearson kolerasyon testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler ışığında dikkat bileşenlerinden E1, E2, E, TNE, TNE%, CP, FR, FR% puanlarının p<0,05 olmasından dolayı katılımcıların alp disiplini kayak disiplini temel tekniği olan kar sapanı tekniğini öğrenme süreleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Yapmış olduğumuz bu çalışmayla alp disiplini kayak branşına sporcu seçimlerinde, performans sporcusu yetenek seçim taramalarında ve kayak sporu ile ilgili teknik eğitimlerin en doğru ve en kısa sürede öğrenilebilmesi açısından algı düzeyinin etkisinin çok büyük öneme sahip olduğu ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmamızın başta kayak camiası içerisinde yer alan spor paydaşları olmak üzere birçok federasyona, kulüplere, il temsilciliklerine ve antrenörlere katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın farklı yaş grupları ve daha fazla katılımcıyla değişik spor dallarında yapılması literatür ve alana katkı açısından önemlidir.
