Collective consciousness, defined as all the beliefs and emotions that form the rituals, traditions and customs in a society, shapes the society and is affected by the components of that society. Nowadays, thanks to socio-political/economic/cultural developments, intercultural interaction has increased and thus the contact and interaction area of societies has expanded. In this interaction, behavioral models that have become traditional have paved the way for institutionalization in societies with historical depths. These contacts have increased the interaction of languages and cultures today and increased the interest in learning languages and cultures taken together. One of the structures where institutionalization is intensely seen in Turkish social life is foundations. Foundations and institutions established for similar purposes are organizations of great importance in which social memory is preserved. Foundations, the manifestation of this consciousness and division of labor in Turkish society, are institutions that undertake duties that are necessary for social existence today, as in history. These structures, which increase interaction between layers within society and strengthen social consciousness, carry the collective consciousness beyond the ages. The activities of these foundations, which have an important place and function in social life, are an important example of altruism carried out by the state and the people. Altruism, which is translated into Turkish as altruism, is altruism in Latin languages; Foundations, on the other hand, are non-governmental organizations that carry out altruistic activities. It is known that this behavioral model, which is called altruism or isâr in the East and is based on the individual making sacrifices for others, has continued its existence individually and socially among the Turkish people for a long time. The activities of the foundations, which exist as a reflection of the Turkish collective consciousness, enable the intergenerational transfer of altruism by making language an important tool in the cultural dimension; In addition, it is considered to have both national and universal importance in terms of its survival as the areas and places where this culture is produced and transmitted. Today, as in history, these institutions continue to take their place as a cultural heritage living in social life as a manifestation of the Turkish collective consciousness and continue their course from the local to the universe with their altruistic activities. These activities can be directly or indirectly evaluated within the scope of cultural diplomacy activities and associated with the concept of soft power. The understanding of foundation and cooperation, which has always existed in Turkish social life, was discussed as a product of Turkish collective consciousness within the scope of the study and was explained together with the concept of altruism and discussed within the framework of the concept of altruism.
