Data for the quantitative part of the research were collected with the "Global Social Responsibility Scale" developed by Başer and Kılınç (2015). The scale was applied by the researchers to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year social studies prospective teachers in the spring term of the 2020-2021 academic year. The Global Social Responsibility Scale consists of 30 items. The scale developed in a 5-point Likert type has four sub-dimensions: action-oriented responsibility, ecological responsibility, altruistic responsibility, and national responsibility. The data obtained from the participants of the research were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 statistical package program. In the qualitative part of the research, the data were analyzed with descriptive analysis. According to the results obtained from the research, it was found that the social studies prospective teachers' global social responsibility levels were at a good level. When the sub-dimensions of the scale are examined, it is seen that the highest average belongs to the ecological responsibility dimension. As a result, according to the qualitative data of the research, prospective teachers stated that they mostly participate in social responsibility activities such as participating in community service practices and participating in civil society organizations, helping the orphans, they are sensitive to environmental cleaning, and to the problems in the world.
